Unforgettable Moments as Art!.

Welcome to my studio

Artist Statement
As an artist who experienced war, immigration and adaptation, I am deeply aware of how these experiences impact individual and social behaviour. I apply my art to help me and others grow, heal and connect with those seeking to make sense of the world.
Motivated by nature’s beauty and the human experience, my artwork expresses feelings and concepts that connect us with one another, in the hope of making our world a better place.
I apply the design process to art making. My work starts with a feeling, or an idea validated in research, and expressed as visual art (painting, sculpture, film documentary, photography).
My style is experimental postmodern: a mix of expressionism, symbolism, surrealism and figurative abstract; inspired by nature and characterized by bold colours, and textures. I use various mediums throughout this exhibit (vinyl, cloth, clay, paint, film). The paintings are excuted using multilayered acrylic mediums applied by palette knife on canvas, and board.
